Care & Longevity

Caring for Your Sanctuary Art 🌿

Your new Hearth-n-Gnome canvas has been crafted to last a lifetime. To keep the colors as vibrant as the day it arrived, follow these simple "slow-living" care tips:

1. Find the Perfect Light

Our canvases are printed with archival inks, but like a real meadow, they prefer a bit of shade. To prevent fading over the decades, avoid hanging your art in direct, harsh sunlight for extended periods.

2. Dusting with Love

Treat your art like a delicate bloom. If dust settles on the surface, simply use a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a clean feather duster.

  • Hearth Tip: Never use water, glass cleaner, or any chemical sprays, as these can break down the protective coating.

3. Mind the Humidity

Canvas is a natural material that likes to breathe. Avoid hanging your triptych in areas with extreme moisture (like a small, unventilated bathroom) or right above a direct heat source like a radiator, which can cause the wooden frame to shift over time.

4. The "Tighten Up" Trick

If your canvas ever feels a little loose due to seasonal changes in your home’s temperature, a tiny mist of distilled water on the back of the canvas (the unprinted side) will help the fibers shrink back to a drum-tight fit as it dries.

🌿 Caring for your Woven Heirlooms 🌿

Our Trellised Floral blankets are made to last a lifetime, but they love a little extra tenderness. To keep yours soft and vibrant:

1️⃣ Wash Cold: Use a gentle cycle with eco-friendly detergent.

2️⃣ Skip the Heat: Tumble dry on low or, better yet, hang it to catch a summer breeze.

3️⃣ Avoid Bleach: Let the natural fibers speak for themselves.

Quality goods deserve a slow pace.
