Our "Sanctuary" Guarantee
At Hearth-n-Gnome, we want every piece you bring into your home to spark joy and peace. We understand that sometimes a piece of art or a cozy accessory doesn't quite match your space once it arrives. That’s why we offer a 14-day return and exchange window from the date of delivery.
How to Start a Return
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
-
Step 1: Contact us at donna@hearth-n-gnome.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
-
Step 2: Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
-
Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item (like a different size of the Cottagecore Tulip Tote Bag), contact us immediately so we can make it right.
Specific Item Guidelines
-
Wall Art & Canvas Prints: Since our Spring Meadow Triptych and other NuevArt pieces are often made-to-order, please ensure they are repacked with the original foam corner protectors to prevent damage during transit.
-
Apparel & Totes: Must be unwashed and free of pet hair or scents.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (special orders or personalized items) and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Pro-Tip for your Store:
Since you are using Shopify Collective, remember that the suppliers (like Opal and June) are the ones who fulfill the orders. It’s always a good idea to double-check their specific return requirements in the Collective Settings to ensure your policy aligns with theirs!
